Someone inside of Anon has declared war on Scientology. Anon is more known for messing around with individual lives, not whole organizations. It’ll be interesting to watch what comes of this. /i has already posted some ‘top secret’ documents.
Why do I Carry Textbooks?

Am I alone in seeing the (apparent to me) pointlessness in paying for, and carrying text books?
I go to the University Of Ontario Institute Of Technology, where every student is forced to carry some sort of laptop. We have now sub $200 super high-contrast e-book readers, and curriculum freely available on the internet the easily rivals any text book material. Why is it I am forced to pay hundreds of dollars to carry a book, when the same material is free online?
Who is it that makes these decisions? I’d at least like to know why we aren’t using the internet.
This wouldn’t be the first time the school has stifled the free market (eg. Chartwells).
